12 NRCHA Shows Approved For APHA World Show Qualification

Listen up, reined cow horse enthusiasts—when it comes to APHA World Championship Show qualification, we’ve got you covered.
APHA recently announced 12 National Reined Cow Horse Association-approved competitions that will count toward qualification requirements for the 2014 and 2015 APHA World Shows. Taking place annually in Fort Worth, Texas, during November, the APHA World Championship Show is home to Open and Amateur World Championship classes—along with tons of other added-money events—for Paint Horses.
Each of the following 12 events counts as one show and includes the respective number of judges—to qualify for the APHA World Show, a Paint Horse must have participated in at least two shows and four judges. No qualification is required to participate in the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show, which takes place annually in June and July. Unless otherwise noted, these shows are approved only for APHA World Show qualification, not APHA points.
2014 World Show Qualifying (August 1, 2013–July 30, 2014)
March 30-April 5—NRCHA Stakes, Las Vegas, NV (5 judges)
April 30–May 4—NRCHA Hackamore Classic, Pueblo, CO (2 judges)
May 16–18—Twisted Wire Derby & Horse Shows 1, 2 & 3, Great Falls, MT (1 judge)
May 23–25—Southwest RCHA May Shindig Derby, Graham, TX (2 judges)
June 9–14—NRCHA Derby, Paso Robles, CA (5 judges)
June 20–22—Colorado RCA Mountain High Horse Show & Bridle Spectacular, Estes Park, CO (1 judge)
June 21–22—North Central RCHA Slide Into Summer Horse Show, North Branch, MN (1 judge)
July 3–6—Colorado RCHA Firecracker Special, Castle Rock, CO (2 judges)
July 16–20—East Coast Reined Cow Horse Classic, Murfreesboro, TN (2 judges)
2015 World Show Qualifying (August 1, 2014–July 31, 2015)
August 14–17 SRCHA Rode To Reno, Fort Worth, TX (2 judges)
September 22–October 4 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, Reno, NV (5 judges)
October 23–26 SRCHA Fall Festival, Stephenville, TX (1 judge)
