Celebrating 25 years in 2019, the Breeders’ Trust continues to generate payouts to all of those who play a factor in the life of a foal; the stallion subscriber, breeder, and owner. In 2019, the Breeders’ Trust paid out more than $428,000 to participants, with a per-point value of $7.36. Keep an eye on your mailbox for your Breeders’ Trust check—they were mailed March 3.

1993 sorrel overo stallion by Zippo Pine Bar (QH) and out of Satin N Lace
Breeder: Joe Bachmuth, Cullman, Alabama
Owner: Simons Show Horses LLC, Aubrey, Texas

Owned by the Simons family since he was a yearling, Zippos Sensation (above, left) has been subscribed to the Breeders’ Trust every year since the program’s beginning. He has held the No. 1 Breeders’ Trust Leading Sire spot for the last 19 years. In 2019, “Zippo” had 97 foals earn 4,584 eligible points—that translates to Breeders’ Trust earnings worth $33,779.89.
