Tulsa, Okla., June 9-21, 2014 – Join the Pinto Horse Association of America for the world’s largest gathering of Pintos as the Pinto World Championship kicks off on June 9th at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square, marking the show’s 24th year in Tulsa.

Talented equines, exhibitors and spectators from around the globe will unite and vie for world titles in many disciplines including Western, English, and Saddle Seat. A handful of fun events will take place each day in addition to the show classes, which will start each morning at 7:30 a.m.

“The Pinto Horse Association staff is working diligently to produce a top-notch show for all of our exhibitors,” said Darrell Bilke, PtHA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “In addition to old favorites, there will be new events that are sure to be a hit!”

The PWC has an open door policy when it comes to spectators. The show is free to attend and promises a fun-filled time for everyone who stops by with events from barrel racing to cookouts and everything in between. For those shopaholics out there, the PWC Market Place hosts nearly 75 vendors, with equine products, home décor and plenty of clothing.

In addition to the competition and shopping, several special events will take place over the 13-day period. The Costume Class, Challenged Rider’s Leadline, and Versatilities are always a big hit. On Flag Day, you can take the opportunity to honor our military personnel through the Parade of Heroes and Operation Free Ride event, taking place that afternoon.

Equine competition isn’t all that goes on in Tulsa. Be sure to attend the PWC Welcome Party, the Dog Show and the Ice Cream Social, all of which promise a family-friendly good time.

New this year is the addition of the Youth Judging Contest. This event will take place the Sunday before classes begin and will be open to youth under the age of 18. There will be performance classes and halter classes and all divisions will give reasons.

PWC entry forms are available for download at www.pintoworld.com; hurry and download your forms today! Don’t forget, the postmark deadline for entries is April 25th. In addition to entries, stalls are going fast, be sure and get yours reserved today!

The 2014 PWC will be one of the biggest and most exciting shows to date! Whether showing, supporting exhibitors or just attending for fun, we look forward to seeing you in Tulsa!
