Who wants a free, full page ad in The Equine Chronicle? That’s a silly question, everyone of course! We’re partnering with Mark Harrell Horse Shows to give you that opportunity.
Seven High Point winners at the upcoming International Horse Show will each receive a full page ad in The Equine Chronicle as their prize! The divisions eligible are Open, Amateur, Select, L1 Amateur, L1 Youth, 13 & under, and 14-18 Youth. Competitors must show in respective Halter classes to qualify for High Point. Special High Point awards will be awarded to Small Fry, L1 Amateur, L1 Youth Walk/Jog, Rookie Youth, and Rookie Amateur.
The International Horse Show has a lot of changes in store for competitors this year, one of which is a new location. The event will take place April 27-30 in Cloverdale, Indiana. The decision will move the show to back-to-back weekends with the IQHYA Show, April 20-23. That’s a total of 12 shows!
During The International, six sets of points will be made available to competitors. Judges for Thursday/Friday are Mark Russell, Dean Bogart, and Shawn Hays. Judges for Friday/Saturday are Gayle Lampinen, Amy Watkins, and Tyler Crouse.
Layovers are available for those hoping to stay in town for both of the shows. In addition, the event is both approved by the Indiana and Illinois Quarter Horse Association. Rookie classes will be offered, the Junior and Senior Hunter Under Saddle is split, and the Youth Equitation and Hunter Under Saddle is split.
