Fox Grove Farm is a beautiful facility conveniently located in the heart of Ocala, FL’s horse country. The Farm boasts a 2.5 acre enclosed natural obstacle course and grand prix grass dressage arena. It will be home to the 2015 series of four Trail Challenges and five Western Dressage Shows beginning in March and concluding in November with High Point Awards.

Trail Challenge competitions are March 8, May 3, October 4 and November 8. The competition will consist of 4 levels including Training, Intermediate, Master and Elite. Those levels are for Youth and Adult with all breeds of horses. By popular demand, the Agility Class offered in 2014 will make a return for those who wish to showcase their in hand skills. Each competition offers an open practice and limited coaching sessions with course designers Lynn Palm and Cyril Pittion-Rossillon.

Western Dressage shows are March 15, May 3, October 4, October 18 and November 8. These shows are qualified for Western Dressage Association of Florida Year End Awards. Each show will offer tests from Introductory Level to Level 3 with a Traditional English Dressage Test of Choice. Entries will close one week prior to each show date. A limited number of riders can schedule the WDAA World Champion Team of Palm and Pittion-Rossillon for coaching sessions prior to and during the show.

Fantastic prizes including High Point and Reserve High Point Trophies, Gist Silversmith Buckles, SmartPak gift certificates, monogrammed blankets, gear bags, horse treats plus class ribbons for first-sixth and daily Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded for both competitions compliments of Palm Partnership Training and the series sponsors.  The same horse and rider combination must enter 3 of the 4 Trail Challenges and/or 4 of the 5 Dressage Shows to be eligible for series end awards.

Like all Palm Partnership Training clinics and events, the Trail Challenges and Western Dressage Shows are open to all breeds of horses and levels of riders. For participants, convenient, on-site lodging and stabling is available on a first come, first served basis. Spectators are welcome to cheer on their favorite competitors or just learn what the events are all about. Concessions will be on-site.

Details of the competition series can be found on the Calendar of Events at www.lynnpalm.com/calendar.htm.  To join the sponsorship team alongside SmartPak, Double S Farm, Three Does Ranch, Three Oaks Ranch, Springhill Equine, Alliance Saddlery and many others contact Marie-Frances Davis at generalinfo@lynnpalm.com.

Lynn Palm and Cyril Pittion-Rossillon offer Western Dressage training for horse and rider at their Fox Grove Farm in Ocala, FL throughout the year. March 11-17 is a week devoted to this fastest growing new discipline. Palm’s and Pittion-Rossillon’s ultimate goal is to develop willing horses and happy riders! “That is exactly what the beautiful progression of dressage does for the horse and rider,” says Palm.

The Palm Partnership Training fundamentals follow the same logical progression as that of classical dressage, or more recently accepted, western dressage. This training, and all Palm Partnership Training events, are for all levels of riders and all breeds of horses. The rider and willing, happy horse become a harmonious pair beginning with proper rider’s form, followed by natural aids communication, then studying horse’s natural balance and control of that balance. This progression allows the rider to gain more understanding of the horse’s natural behavior, anatomy and positive control whether competing in a western dressage test or cross training for other western disciplines or for those riding down the trail.

The Western Dressage Week begins March 11 with a four day all inclusive clinic at the beautiful Fox Grove Farm in Ocala. Sunday morning riders can test their skills in the first in a series of five Western Dressage Association of Florida qualified shows. Monday and Tuesday, March 16-17 brings the Discover Western Dressage Symposium which is 2 days of classroom sessions and live demonstrations designed for the professional Judge, Trainer, Coach and Competitor. The Symposium is hosted by the Western Dressage Association of Florida and Palm Partnership Training.

Clinic riders and their horses can take advantage of the all-inclusive package with 4 days of instruction, convenient, on-site lodging, healthy meals prepared by Lynn, plush stabling and fun evening activities. Riders can plan an entire week of training with all 3 events, or participate in one or two.  For more information about the Western Dressage Clinic, Show and Symposium visit http://www.lynnpalm.com/fox-grove-farm-clinics.htm.
