What other horse show encourages competitors to wear ugly Christmas sweaters, welcomes fuzzy horses, and has a cookie decorating competition? At the 2018 Reindeer Run, recently held Nov. 30-Dec. 1 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Christmas festivities were in full force, made even more complete with a Christmas Cookie Walk on Saturday evening. With APHA, AQHA, ABRA, Roan Horse, and Open classes, there was something for everyone.
Judges for this fun event were John Boxell and Danielle Burns, and they even got in on the fun with their own Ugly Christmas sweater outfits! The Equine Chronicle was a proud sponsor of the show this year. Congratulations to all of the High Point winners!
