WACO, Texas – The United Equestrian Conference announced its Riders of the Week on Tuesday.
EQUITATION ON THE FLAT RIDER OF THE WEEK
Kirsten Ostling • SMU
- Went 1-0 last week for the Mustangs in equitation on the flat.
- Earned an 85-78 victory on the road against Oklahoma State on February 16.
- Named equitation on the flat Most Outstanding Performer in SMU’s meet at Oklahoma State.
EQUITATION OVER FENCES RIDER OF THE WEEK
Sabin Marquardt • UC Davis
- Went 1-0 last week for the Aggies in equitation over fences.
- Earned an 82-75 victory on the road against Texas A&M on February 16.
- Her score (82) was the team-high jumping score for UC Davis.
HORSEMANSHIP RIDER OF THE WEEK
Michaela Dinger • SMU
- Went 1-0 last week for the Mustangs in horsemanship.
- Earned a 73.5-72 victory on the road against Oklahoma State on February 16.
REINING RIDER OF THE WEEK
Laurel Jackson • UC Davis
- Went 1-0 last week for the Aggies in reining.
- Earned a 67.5-0 victory on the road against Texas A&M on February 16.
- Her score (67.5) was the team-high reining score for UC Davis.
