The Texas Paint Horse Club hosted a very successful 2014 Power of Pink horse show recently in Waco, Texas raising over $22,000 that will be donated to the Careity Foundation, a Texas based charity that offers free cancer screenings and treatment to Texas women. The third annual charity horse show took place March 1-2 with judges Garth Gooding, Sonnesa Gooding, Kelly Boles Chapman, and Dave Parlier officiating.
With class sizes like more than 40 horses in Youth Halter Geldings, the show saw a total of 771 entries with 174 horses participating. That’s an increase in entries from last year’s total of 601.
$9,000 in scholarship money was awarded to youth participants.

The winner of the always entertaining bra decorating contest was model Reggie Barnett who wore “Let Those Puppies Breathe,” a piece designed by Crystal Wiggin.
