Top Clinicians Announced For 2015 Horse Expos

According to a recent study by the American Horse Council, there are over 9.2 million horses in the United States today, and more than 4.6 million Americans who consider themselves equine aficionados. To help educate and expand this booming industry, Horse Expo Events announces their 2015 Expo dates, Horse Expo Pomona, January 30-February 1 at the Fairplex in Pomona and the Western States Horse Expo, June 5-7 at Cal Expo in Sacramento.

“We are working hard to make 2015 our biggest and best year as we continue to improve our competitions, exhibits, and guest speakers,” said Horse Expo Events President, Miki Nelsen. “It is our goal to provide our attendees with practical information as well as the latest products and services available in the market today.”

Horse Expo Events offer something for every level of horse enthusiast. Popular returning attractions at Horse Expo Pomona will include the Breed Revelation, the California Classic Invitational Cow Horse, Young Rider Park, University, Trail Symposium, and Great American Truck Display. Western States Horse Expo will also feature the Magnificent Seven and the Premium Horse Sale.

Each event offers hundreds of exhibits featuring the latest in products and services, from riding apparel, tack, nutrition, horse supplies and trailers to art, jewelry, arts and crafts and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet top equine clinicians from all different disciplines to arm them with knowledge to take back to the barn.

Initial Clinicians for Horse Expo Pomona include: Chris Cox, one of the country’s leading horsemen and clinician (roping/cutting); Charles de Kunffy, world-renowned educator and author (dressage); Nick Karazissis, leading trainer and clinician and Nic Karazissis Jr., (hunter/jumping); Larry Whitesell, renowned trainer and clinician (gaited); Brandi Lyons, the daughter of “the most trusted horseman in America,” John Lyons; Jonathan Field, expert on equine psychology; Craig Cameron, known as “The Cowboys Clinician”; Barbra Schulte, a 2012 inductee of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame (cutting); Kalley Krickeberg, specialist in young and problem horses and liberty training, and many more. Speakers in the Horse Expo Pomona University include; Robert M. Miller DVM, equine behaviorist and 30-year equine veterinarian; Deb Bennett PhD, known for her scientific approach to conformation analysis of horses; Jim Masterson, creator of a multi-modality method of equine massage, the Masterson Method®, and Tom Mayes, expert in integrated equine therapies.
