A crowd-pleasing class that filled the seats in the Will Rogers Coliseum at the ApHC Youth World Championship Show this afternoon was the Leadline 6 and Under.
13 pint-sized competitors donned their sparkly show ensembles complete with mini buckles, tiny spurs, and itty bitty bedazzled hats to compete for the title of 2015 Appaloosa Leadline 6 and Under World Champion.
The competition was fierce, but one tiny equestrienne dressed in blue stood out above the rest. Ms. Evelyn Bitner rode Splash of Chocolate to win the title with two firsts, one second, and one third place. The Reserve World Champion was Ms. Lorelei Belek aboard Definitely Dignified.
The third place horse and rider team was Emily Forrester with One Remarkable Chip. Coming in fourth was Taya Wettlaufer with Zip Invited Me. Rounding out an impressive top five was Cooper Doxstader with Rumor Machine. The crowd applauded for Josh Naylor as he rode up on Hezsweeter Bythehour to accept his sixth place prize and tipped his hat to acknowledge the judges.
Congratulations to all of these talented young competitors! Scroll below to view more fun photos from the class.
