We rescued Nilla as a untrained and unwanted 3-year-old. We nursed her back to health, and my husband trained her. For the past two years, she has been shown by three different riders and has won countless awards in the American Stock Horse Association and at 4-H shows.
In 2012, she won the ASHA Region II Green Horse All Around Championship in Tennessee and that year she was also the ASHA Region II Year-End All Around Champion Green Horse and the ALSHA Green Horse All Around Champion winning her first saddle. She was shown by Kate Whiting, a friend of our family!
In 2013, she won the ALSHA Open All Around Championship and her second saddle with my husband Henry showing her. She also won the SESHA Limited Non Pro All Around Championship as well as the ASHA Region II Limited Non Pro All Around Championship in Perry, GA. with my daughter Sunnie Dee showing her.
Sunnie also showed her at the 2013 Georgia State 4-H Horse Show and won the Senior Ranch Horse Division Championship and a $500 scholarship. She was a Southern Regional Qualifier and at the 2013 Southern Regional Championship Horse Show in West Monroe, Louisiana, she won the Ranch Horse Trail class with over 50 entries and placed in the top 10 in Reining and Working Cow Horse.
She is an awesome little mare with a great story!
