It takes an extraordinary person to earn the respect of the entire horse industry. When it’s an entire family that has done so, you know you have a remarkable group.
The Neiberger family, comprised of Todd and his wife, Lisa, and daughters Alyssa, Emily and Payton, are known in AQHA, NRHA, and NCEA circles for their work ethic, faith, and as an exceptional group of individuals who have all been bitten by the horse bug.
“We’ve always been very fortunate and honored by what the Quarter Horse community has done for us,” Todd says. “We have made some wonderful friendships and lasting relationships by being a part of this industry,” agrees Lisa. “We’re so blessed to be able to do this as a family.”
The Values Behind the Success
This family has been able to achieve the level of success they’ve had as a result of living by the values Lisa and Todd were both raised by – values they’re extending to their daughters.
“If you ask us, as a family, our faith is number one and our work ethic is number two,” Todd says. “Faith is very important to us, as it has gotten us through tough times, and we wouldn’t be where we are without it.”
Working hard was instilled in both parents at a young age. “Both my wife and I grew up with horses on farms and ranches in Colorado, and we know where we’ve gotten in life is because of hard work. Our work ethic is important to both of us, and we try to raise our daughters that same way,” he says.
