Don’t miss an Iowa classic! The Iowa Run, an AQHA approved show, will take place May 30th – June 2nd at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. It’s been an Iowa tradition for 50 years.
For the first time in years, the event will be held the week before World Pork Expo – so no pigs! That means better parking and lower hotel costs, but still the same fun!
Known as a great all-around AQHA show, The Iowa Run committee has announced a Trail Challenge with a guaranteed $2,500 to first place! The cost is just $100 to enter with 100% entry fee payback and each exhibitor is limited to two entries.
The Equine Chronicle is sponsoring our Green4Green circuit champions. Each of the Level 1 classes of Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Trail, and Western Riding will receive a bonus of $500! Level 1 classes are an important part of any show and this added money encourages people to show their green horses in these events.
As usual, The Iowa Run is a reasonable show, one of the most reasonable quarter horse circuits around. There are no stall reservation penalties, no additional stall location fees, no practice fees, no office charges, or additional association fees. All stalls are $125 with a showing horse fee of $160, and that’s it.
