Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. ~Proverbs 22:6
As we all know, the holidays can be a rough time for people who have lost family members.
On May 26, 2021, renowned breeder Joe and AQHA Judge Suzy Jeane suffered a loss no parent should endure. Their 30-year-old son, and only child, Taylor Joe Jeane passed in a tragic auto accident after starting at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on May 8, 2021. T Joe had earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Masters in medical sciences from Mississippi Baptist College. T Joe was known for showing SONNYS BLACK GOLD to a 2004 Reserve World Championship in AQHYA World Show trail and ZIPPOS TIGER BAR 13th at the AQHYA World show trail.
Turning this tragedy into a perpetual commemoration, Joe and Suzy set up a scholarship for T Joe’s memory at AQHF Scholarship Foundation. The scholarship benefits veterinary students wishing to attend an AVMA-accredited institution that meets the qualifying eligibility requirement. It is well known that finance is a CRISIS area for our young veterinarians and is a declining area of education with all the hardship and expense.
By the generosity of many friends, the scholarship is HALF WAY to being fully funded in just over a year. Based on the size of the contributions to date received by AQHF, it appears that many of our AQHA family recognize the value of completing the scholarship in order to impact young veterinarians for generations to come.

The goal is seeing this scholarship becoming a fully funded perpetual scholarship. AQHA Foundation has a direct link to make sure donations go directly into T Joe scholarship. Donations are eligible for tax deductions in this 501c3.
Thank you for your support in the completion of this scholarship.
