Super Freek sells to Leavengood Blume after Big Wins at Congress

Super Freek, a 2020 Black AQHA Gelding by Good Better Best and out of Shez All About Blue, has been making a name for himself as a 3-year-old this year in Hunter Under Saddle events under the guidance of Jamie and Jason English.

After making his debut in early 2023 with wins at the Fun In the Sun Futurity, Georgia On My Mind, Back to Berrien, and much more, he caught the eye of Jennifer Leavengood Blume at Congress this week.

The stunning, black gelding was quite attention-grabbing, especially with wins in the 3 Year Old Limited Hunter Under Saddle Futurity with Jamie English for Kelly Smith ($4883.95), and as Reserve Congress Champion in the 3 YO Open Hunter Under Saddle Futurity, also with Jamie.

So Jennifer purchased “Roger” and he will stay in Florida with Jamie and Jason, and Jennifer will show him in the Select Amt HUS in 2024, explains Kelly. “My mom Joan McMann and I wish Jennifer the very best of luck & we will be cheering for her next year!”

Jennifer has this to say about the exciting new journey: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity with a horse like Super Freek. I adore the Good Better Best horses and I look forward to getting back to showing with AQHA.”
