Each year at the APHA World Championship Show, champions are crowned in events ranging from roping to halter to hunter under saddle—but a select group of horses are presented with special awards designed to remember the great horses who came before them. Not only do these special awards create a perpetual memory of those great horses, but they also honor excellence in specific events.
