If you’re looking for a great option to cure those winter no-horse-show-to-go-to blues, the GQHA Classic may be the answer. The six judge event will take place December 4-7 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, GA.
Judges for the event will be Brent Maxwell, Chad Evans, Brent Tincher, Garth Gooding, Jessica Gilliam, and one TBD judge. The Classic features a new schedule this year, which will allow halter competitors to show once on Saturday.
The show will kick off on Thursday with Trail, Western Pleasure, and Horsemanship classes. On the schedule for Friday is Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Riding, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Speed, and Reining. Saturday’s classes will include Showmanship, Halter, Trail, Western Pleasure, and Horsemanship. Sunday’s classes will consist of Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Riding, Ranch Horse Pleasure, and Reining.
The fabulous $300 per horse ALL INCLUSIVE* show fee will provide competitors with the opportunity to show to six judges. The fee includes AQHA entries and office fees, but doesn’t include stall, RV, trail warm up fees, shavings, or AQHA processing fees.
