Our sincerest condolences go out to the the family and friends of Carol Harris, who passed away this weekend.
Carol was best known as the owner of Bo-Bett Farm of Reddick, FL., which was the home of the legendary stallion, Rugged Lark. Carol was the writer of a popular column, “On the Fence With Carol,” published in The Equine Chronicle where she expressed her opinions and strong convictions about a variety of topics in the horse industry.
She was a prolific horse breeder, one of the first women to be named an AQHA judge and, in 1981, was the first woman to judge at the AQHA World Show. Inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 1997, she was a true friend to the horse industry and will be sincerely missed.
