Shortys Caboy Hattery Becomes Official Hat of AQHA

The American Quarter Horse Association is proud to have a team of partners that offers great benefits to the Association’s members and support AQHA events throughout the year. AQHA recently partnered with Shorty’s Caboy Hattery – the official show hat of AQHA.

“AQHA is excited to begin a partnership with a company that is loved by so many in the equine industry,” said Tawanna Walker, AQHA corporate partner liaison.

Shorty’s Caboy Hattery was founded in 1990 by Lavonna “Shorty” Koger in Oklahoma City. Koger had a passion for horse life growing up and was involved with rodeos at a young age. Now, Shorty’s hats are seen throughout the western industry. Shorty’s Caboy Hattery offers quality straw, felt and custom hats, as well as hat renovation services. Shorty’s hats are known for their handcrafted stitching, fun designs/colors and impressive details.
