After 116 preliminaries runs and 20 finals runs, a World Champion was named this evening in Ranch Riding. Judges Chele McGauly, Jim Dudley, Bobby Harrison, John Tuckey, and Tim Finkenbinder determined the winner to be Shelby Reine aboard Keepyourgunsloaded. Reine’s overall score was a 231.5 (individual scores- 75.5, 78.5, 77.5, 77, 77)
The pattern on schedule for this evening was Ranch Riding #2 which includes the following maneuvers.

4. Left Lead Lope
5. Stop, 1 1/2 turn to the right
6. Extended Lope
7. Collect to working lope- right lead
8. Change leads- simple or flying

The winning horse, Keepyourgunsloaded, is a sorrel gelding by He’s A Loaded Gun and out of Toodie Star. He was bred by Mary Jansma of Tioga, TX.
The Reserve World Champion was Lindsay Guynn with Fancy Lil Catillac, a bay mare by Lynx Stampede and out of Smart Smokin Mindy. The pair scored a 230. Third place was Hannah Penny with Faraway Skipper. Placing fourth was Skylar Smith with I’ll Be Tuckered. Fifth place was Emily Woodard with Royal Smoken Bob.
