AQHA Publicity
Spread the news of your success at the 2021 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show. Your spotlight doesn’t end once your name has been called. Use these four tips to shine outside the arena, too.
1. Relive the ride.
Are you a Ford Youth World exhibitor? Show your family and friends how your hard work and dedication paid off during this year’s show. Exhibitors will receive a free digital file of their performance from official show videographer Equine Promotion, courtesy of AQHA corporate partner Farnam. Equine Promotion will email each run to exhibitors to download and share on social media.
Exhibitors can purchase photos from official show photographer Shane Rux Photography. We’re proud of all of the AQHYA members competing at the Ford Youth World, so we hope to see your videos and photos on social media!
2. Share your achievements with your community via a hometown press release.
AQHA offers an easy way to share your achievements with your hometown newspaper. Exhibitors or guardians, simply choose a press release template from the Media Resources section of www.aqha.com/youthworld. Complete the easy-to-fill-out release and send it electronically to your local newspaper to ensure that your achievements are highlighted for your community to see.
AQHA press release templates have everything your newspaper needs to get started in telling your story.
AQHYA contest participants are also encouraged to send releases to highlight their achievements outside of the arena at the show.
3. Get social.
Share your #AQHYAWorld experiences and tell your story from the Ford Youth World.
Connect with us on Instagram (@officialaqhya), YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter (@aqhya) and Facebook.
During the week, don’t forget to use the hashtags #AQHYAWorld #GetThatGlobe and #MakeYourMark.
4. Tell us about you!
We want to know about our exhibitors and their horses. Submit a bio form here, so we can share your story with the world. Be sure to have the bio form completed at least three hours before your finals. There are several media groups at the Ford Youth World, including The American Quarter Horse Journal. Our staff will be posting show coverage at www.aqha.com/youthworld.
Participating in the Ford Youth World is a major accomplishment. AQHA hopes you’ll take every opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments during your Ford Youth World journey.
