PHJ press release by: Alannah Castro
When it comes to the finding the best Paint Horse prospects, there’s no better place to start than the 2015 Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Sale. The sale catalog is now available online, giving you the opportunity to scope out your future champion.
All consigned horses are subscribed or nominated to the Breeders’ Trust or bred to a Breeders’ Trust-subscribed stallion. Horses consigned to the Yearling Stakes Session of the 2015 sale are eligible to compete for their share of more than $50,000 in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Farnam Stakes classes; the session features prospects for both Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle enthusiasts.
Consignments will be accepted until 5 p.m. the day before the sale, but only consignments received in the APHA office by October 28 will be included in the sale catalog or insert.
In 2016, Farnam 2-Year-Old Pleasure Stakes classes will include a limited division as a class within a class. The class purse will be split 65 percent to the Open division and 35 percent to the Limited division.
