Results From 2017 Huntfield Derby Championships- Fox Lea Farm

The 2017 Huntfield Derby Championships recently took place January 11th at Fox Lea Farm during the Quarter Horse Winter Circuit. This year’s winners of the Regular and Low Derbies Overall won a CWD saddle! The highest placing non pro in each Derby won a CWD Bridle!
Champions and Reserve Champions received Blue Ribbon Horse Coolers. Reserve Champions received One K Helmets. All placings received a back pack goody bag from EHI & Hassinger Equine plus the Champions received a special saddle pad from EHI. The regular class was named after Vargo Companies and the Janis Family. The Low Derby was named after Plastilite.
The Wofford Emerging Professional Cup Award was won by Tayler Adams during the Low Derby Championship. This award is sponsored by Scott Jones and David Miller. This is an award for up and coming professionals who have not yet been awarded a World Champion or Congress Champion title.
We had a great Derby Draw gathering the evening before the Derbies, which was sponsored by VARGO Companies, the Janis Family, and The Equine Chronicle. The party had an amazing turnout with everyone enjoying the food and the fun!
