The weather wasn’t the only thing heating up the Henderson County Horseman’s Association’s Athens Summer Jubilee over the weekend in Texas. Class entries saw a boost from 2014 as many competitors came from across Texas and Oklahoma to snag those last few qualifying points for the upcoming AQHA World Show.
The event began on Wednesday with a special event show judged by Lisa Ligon. Garth Gooding, Michael Colvin, and David Denniston judged Thursday and Friday. John Boxell and Chris Jones were the judges for Saturday and Sunday.
On Thursday evening, competitors enjoyed the Exhibitors Red Solo Cup Party, hosted by the HCHA.
