The Tarheel Summer Classic is one of those shows that faced adversity during the beginning of the year when their April 24-26 event was cancelled. But, with loosening restrictions finally reaching several states, the event was able to reschedule for June 11-14 and was met with many happy participants in Raleigh, NC.
The NCQHA event hosted six, full AQHA shows with judges Danielle Burns, Buddy Fisher, Lisa Moden, Garth Gooding, Terry Cross, and John Briggs officiating.
One of the main events was the Virginia Maiden 3 and Over Open Horse Western Pleasure with $30,000 added. The winner was Katy Jo Zuidema with Martina Mckride. Click here for complete results and payouts.
