The Oregon Quarter Horse Association celebrated Valentine’s Day in style by inviting AQHA competitors to attend their Sweetheart Classic, February 15-18, in Eugene, Oregon. The show hosted six judges in four days: Brendan Brown, Sandy Curl, Kerry Allen, Pierre Briere, Matt Howell, and Lita Hottel.
The Oregon Quarter Horse Youth Association held two special events at the show- a Dessert Auction and a Stall Raffle Ticket Sale.
The Sweetheart Classic is the first in a special Weekend Series of shows. The second, the Irish Classic, will take place March 15-18 in Eugene and will include an Amateur Basket Auction and Wine and Cheese Social. It will also include both AQHA and APHA classes. The third, the Spring Classic, will take place May 10-13 in Eugene and will include both AQHA and APHA classes. The fourth and final show in the series will be the Fall Classic, October 18-21, which will include AQHA and APHA classes and will be an “No Bling In The Ring Show.”
