Results and Photos from 2017 Gordyville Turkey Run

Gordyville USA celebrated 30 years of horse show tradition with their 2017 Gordyville Turkey Run. The AQHA circuit took place November 24-26th with four AQHA, NSBA, ILQHA, and LLQHA approved shows. Judges for the show were Steve Heckaman, Jerry Erickson, Richard Spinks, and Margo Ball.
Special events included slot classes for Level 1 Hunter Under Saddle, Trail, Western Pleasure, and Open Ranch Riding. $750 was added in memory of Ken Freeman, Gordon Hannagan, Arlie King, and Rick Skelly with an estimated purse of $3,000. In addition, the Grand Champion Mare and Grand Champion Amateur Gelding were awarded with a trophy in honor of Betty Boxell and Sue King.
When competitors weren’t showing, they could enjoy parties, door prizes, the Bouncy Horse Invitational Race, and the Waisted Away Party!
