The Arizona Fall Championship recently took place September 22-26 at West World in Scottsdale, AZ. Judges for the show were Tracy Willis, Butch Campbell, Mark Russell, Buddy Fisher, Casey Devitt, Lisa Ligon, Robert Johnson, Dave Belson, Andy Paul, Michele Pearson, Christina Riley, and Linde Von Koeding.
In addition to a full slate of AQHA classes, the show hosted a variety of added money events like Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle futurities, $5,000 added Farnam L1 Ranch Stakes, $5,000 Added Markel Insurance Ranch Riding Derby, $10,000 NRCHA Rogers Heaven Sent Futurity, $5,000 Added NRCHA Non Pro Bridle, $5,000 Added NRCHA Non Pro Ltd., $2,500 Added Non Pro Spectacular, and $2,500 Added Non Pro Boxing Spectacular. In addition, there is a special Arizona Incentive for those competitors who won select classes in L3 Trail, L3 Horsemanship, or L1 Ranch Riding Stakes at the show and will win those same classes at the 2022 Arizona Sun Circuit. There is a $5,000 bonus up for grabs!
Plus, there were Best of Show awards with Rod Patrick Ostrich boots and Cinch jeans and shirts for the champions and Bob Avila Professionals Choice Certificates for reserve champions. There was a L1 Non Pro High Point Saddle, Non Pro High Point Saddle, and High Point scholarship money awarded to deserving competitors.
