Redbud Spectacular Announces New Payout of $40,000+

The Redbud Spectacular is excited to announce the addition of added money to their 2021 event, which is slated to take place June 3- 13 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The event will provide competitors the opportunity to show three times (Halter twice) for eight sets of AQHA points.

The Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association has recently approved the addition of $10,000 purse money to jackpot all Trail, Western Riding, Showmanship, and Horsemanship classes, resulting a projected payout of $40,000.

There will be a one-time jackpot fee of $50, 100% added back, payment to four places, and includes all show.

For example, the following classes will have jackpot monies in Trail events.

• L1 Jr Trail
• L1 Sr Trail
• Jr. Trail L2 & L3
• Sr. Trail L2 & L3
• L1 Youth
• Youth 13 & U
• Youth 14-18
• L1 Am Select
• Amateur Select L2 & L3
• L1 Amateur
• Amateur L2 & L3

The same format will apply for Western Riding, Showmanship, and Horsemanship. The only classes that will not include a jackpot in Horsemanship, Trail and Showmanship are the Walk Trot Youth & Amateur and Small Fry classes.
