Banixx Horse and Pet Care Solid Pinto of the Month

The Banixx Solid Pinto of the Month is Living For A Fling, owned by Sondra Hampton from Peyton, Colorado. Living For A Fling, better known as Kermit, is known as a gentle giant. “Standing 17 hands as a two-year-old, he is a lot of horse,” said Hampton. Kermit is very inquisitive, loving, gentle, easy going, and sometimes mischievous. “He loves to be with people and would get in your pocket if at all possible,” Hampton said.

Kermit was shown in the 2-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle classes at the PtHA World Championship Show. Showing in just four shows as a two-year-old, he is a PtHA and APHA multiple World Champion, Breeders’ Trust Futurity Champion, NSBA Champion, APHA Zone Champion, and APHA HUS Class Champion.

“After a successful two-year-old show season, Kermit is back home with all his pals at Painted Wind Performance Horses in Peyton, Colorado enjoying just being a kid and growing more,” Hampton said.

Every month, PtHA will randomly select a solid registry Pinto and a color registry Pinto for the Banixx Horse of the Month to be featured in the monthly PtHA blast and on the official Pinto Facbeook page. Banixx, one of PtHA’s corporate partners, will be hosting the Pinto of the Month contest and giving a prize to the winner. Check back next month to see who will take home the prize!

Banixx Horse and Pet Care Pinto of the Month

The Banixx Pinto of the Month is Tsunami Sea, who is owned by Samantha Marzke from Hebron, Indiana. Tsunami Sea is better known as Nami. Marzke described Nami’s personality as a sensitive soul. Nami lets Marzke give her kisses, snuggles, and scratches when she’s laying in her stall. Nami also loves apples.

Aside from Halter being their favorite class, the pair had a blast dressing up and competing in the games at a barn Halloween Party, Marzke said.

“We are both super excited to attend the Pinto World Championship Show together as well as other PtHA shows this year,” said Marzke.

Marzke has been riding with Kryl Holden of Paradise Equestrian Center for approximately 8 years.
