Beloved Horse Show Mom, Darla Blanchard, Has Passed

UPDATE: We are deeply saddened that we must relay the news that beloved horse show mother, loving wife, and our beautiful friend Darla Blanchard passed away over the weekend.

A visitation will take place today from 5-8 at Calvary in Beaumont, Texas. Her funeral will follow on Tuesday at the Calvary Main Sanctuary along with an additional visitation at 12 pm and a funeral procession at 1 pm. Calvary: 3350 Dowlen Rd. All our love and prayers go out to Darla’s daughter Natasha and the entire Blanchard family during this time. Her sweet spirit and kind heart will be remembered by many.

Prayers are very powerful. Today, we’d like to direct them towards a devoted horse show mom who’s currently hospitalized and fighting hard against cancer.

For those who don’t know Darla Blanchard, she is the kind-hearted, always glamorous, and most of all loving mother of AQHA youth competitor Natasha Blanchard. Although she’s been battling a difficult diagnosis for quite some time, you always see her around the rings, between treatments, at Natasha’s horse shows.

Our prayers of support and healing go out to Darla, Tommy, and the entire family during this difficult time.
