Power Couple – Scott Weiss and Erin Bradshaw

Horse trainer. Top-notch amateur exhibitor. Reality television stars. Soon-to-be parents. Those are just a few words to describe Scott Weiss and Erin Bradshaw Weiss, a horse industry power couple with a story worth telling.
The couple that lives in Aubrey, Texas, married in 2017. Scott is the head trainer of Scott Weiss Show Horses where he specializes in training and showing AQHA and APHA Western Pleasure horses. He also raises, sells, and trains homebred horses out of their APHA stallion, John Simon. Erin works in marketing for KoonsFuller, PC, while also managing social media and marketing for her husband’s business and family’s ranch.
Over the last year-and-a-half, Scott and Erin have experienced life in extraordinary ways. While Scott’s training business stayed steady during the pandemic, the buying and selling side slowed down significantly. Scott shares, “Instead of selling ten yearlings, we were lucky to sell a handful. We had to switch up how we did things and hold a lot of them back as two-year-olds, start over, and wait for the market to come back.”
Fortunately, 2021 has brought life back to that portion of the horse business. In fact, the couple is proud to have already sold a record number of yearlings this year.
But, in reality, the pandemic didn’t slow down Scott or Erin in the slightest. Their family has stayed incredibly busy, not only in the horse industry, but also in the entertainment industry. The television show, The Bradshaw Bunch, stars Erin’s dad, Hall of Fame former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports broadcaster, Terry Bradshaw, his wife, and three daughters. The show first aired on E! Entertainment Television in 2020.
