Plan For OKC State Fair Parking Changes “Postponed Indefinitely”

According to local Oklahoma station, Channel 4, the plan that was announced in December with the intent of increasing security, enhancing lighting, and including buses for transport at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, has been “postponed indefinitely.”

Earlier in January, the news broke that paid parking would be coming to the Oklahoma Fairgrounds in 2019. Home of the AQHA Youth World Championship Show, AQHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show, Redbud Spectacular, L1 Championship Central, NRHA Futurity, and countless other equine events, the State Fair Park is a frequent stop on many an equestrian’s calendar.
