BETHANY, OKLA. – The Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc® is excited to announce its new program, Select Opportunities and Rewards Program. The newly created SOAR program combines the best aspects of the Open Competitions Activities Program and On The Trail Programs. This program will award PtHA® Members for their time spent with their Pinto in all activities.
The PtHA has partnered with Kensington Protective Products to reward SOAR participants for their time spent with their Pinto. Hours can be spent riding, driving, working in hand or competing at a non-PtHA® Show. Credits earned will accumulate and prizes will be sent to reward participants for achieving set milestones within the program.
Participants’ credits, whether hours, points or both, are added together and kept on a SOAR account and by submitting a reporting form. As participants move up to each new level with your Pinto, a certificate and the prize that coincides with that milestone will be delivered.
Double credits can also be earned by riding or driving in national and state parks, grasslands or historic areas recognized by the U.S. or Canadian National Parks and Service; and competing in a recognized association or outcross breed show. The Recognized Association and Outcross Breeds lists can be found at

Incorporated in 1956, the Pinto Horse Association of America® was formed to encourage the promotion of quality horses, ponies and miniatures with color and to establish a registry for maintaining their pedigrees and records. Currently, the association serves approximately 47,000 members and boasts more than 150,000 registered Pintos.
