The Pinto Horse Association welcomed exhibitors to Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 3rd for the start of the largest color breed horse show in the world! The show is currently taking place at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex and will continue through the 11th.
This year, the Color Breed Congress encompasses three different breeds: PtHA, the Palomino Horse Breeders of America, and the Appaloosa Horse Club. No matter the breed affiliation of their colorful counterparts, exhibitors will have the chance to ride for over $150,000 in cash and prizes! Awards include jackets from Tioga Territory for class champions, medallions for 1st-10th place in each class, Gist Silversmith custom belt buckles, Kensington Protective Products for high point winners, scholarships for high point overall youth winners within each breed, and Shorty’s hats for reserve high point overall youth winners within each breed.
“Every year we are pleased to give out great awards to our exhibitors,” said Darrell Bilke, PtHA Exec. VP and Chief Operating Officer. “The association would like to thank our Corporate Sponsors; we would not be able to have such a fantastic show without their support.”
Also making a return this year are the Cash Challenge classes with an estimated purse of $15,000. In addition to PtHA, PHBA, and ApHC, APHA, APHA Solid Paint-Bred, ABRA, and POAC may also participate.
And don’t forget the fun over at the Mule & Donkey Congress Show that took place Nov. 3 – 5!
