Approximately 700 of the country’s most colorful equine specimens have gathered at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas for the 2014 World Championship Appaloosa Show. Five days into the competition, show management reports that entry numbers and attendance appear very positive when compared to previous years.
The show will continue through November 1st with classes ranging from Hunter Under Saddle, Bareback Horsemanship, and Camas Prairie Stump Race to Most Colorful at Halter, Western Pleasure, and Reining. Thus far, numerous World Champions have been crowned in some of the show’s most prestigious classes. Congratulations to all of the winners thus far!

A special event “Toys for Tots” Drive will take place at the show tomorrow, Friday, October 31, at 7:00 pm in conjunction with the Freestyle Reining. In order to participate, simply bring an unwrapped gift for a child and you will receive a raffle ticket and admittance to the performance. Proceeds from this event will go towards helping the children of Fort Worth during the upcoming holiday season.
