Performance Color Choice Futurity Announces Breeder’s Celebration Location for 2018!

The Color Choice Futurity is a new program for eligible horses to vie for a portion of the total purse in classes aimed at Longe Line, Western Pleasure, and Hunter Under Saddle prospects. The Equine Chronicle is proud to be a sponsor of the program.
“We are pleased to have our Breeder’s Celebration held in conjunction with the Color Breed Congress this year, hosted by the Pinto Horse Association, Nov. 3-10, in Tulsa, Oklahoma,” says Jennifer Sheriff.
The Color Choice Futurity features a Stallion Enrollment fee and begins with Yearling Nominations with a fee schedule. The Color Choice Futurity will offer Longe Line, Two-Year-Old and Three-Year-Old Classes, both Open and Non Pro divisions, with additional bonuses and prizes at the Breeder’s Celebration.
“After many folks requested us to include the American Roan Horse Assn. in the CCF program, we decided it was a great idea to better fit the needs of our owners and exhibitors of Colored Horses,” says Sheriff. The Color Choice Futurity is open to APHA, ApHC, ABRA, AQHA, IBHA, PHBA, and ARHA stallions to enroll. For this inaugural year, stallions can enroll without a penalty. All yearlings, two-year-olds and three-year-olds sired by enrolled stallions will be eligible to show at the CCF Breeder’s Celebration in 2018.
The Color Choice Futurity classes are strictly for Color Breed horses, and are required to be registered with one of the following associations; APHA, ApHC, ABRA, IBHA & PHBA with the addition of ARHA.
The Color Choice Futurity held its Summer Warm Up show during the ABRA World Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma where ABRA, APHA and ApHC horses were well represented.
