There are so many fun activities planned for the APHC Copper Country Paint-O-Rama that we don’t know where to begin! At 4:30 pm on Thursday, stick around for the always entertaining Freestyle Costume Showmanship class to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The time limit is two minutes and required moves include walk, trot, 360 turn, back, and set up for inspection. A rough out saddle will be awarded to first place!

Continue reading …A huge hit among exhibitors and the talk of the horse show were new improvements made to the Roberts Arena. In addition to new lighting, arena footing consisted of a special mix that was trucked in specially from Maryland. Show management confirms it took nearly 80 truckloads to fill the Lamar Arena. Currently, work is underway on the Bradley Arena, which will also include this special footing.

They marked a 221.5 in the first go-round and a 217.5 in the semi-finals for a 439 composite score. Heritage Farms owns the 2011 mare that was nominated by Haworth Family Partnership.
