The facility of Weikersdorf is well known in Austria’s western riding scene. For years, it has been the location of the Austrian QHA Championships as well as the Austrian State Championship. In 2013, new owners Elli and Jorg Preimesberger bought the facility and founded the High Class Horse Center – a beautiful facility specializing in the needs of show horses and their riders.

National directors voted to amend the color requirements for horses with two Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred parents. Previously, these “cropout” horses had to meet more stringent color requirements regarding white skin than horses with at least one Paint parent in order to be eligible for registration.
