2016 AQHA Calendar Unveiled- Featuring Member Photography

Earlier in the year, AQHA hosted a photo contest, encouraging all AQHA members to submit photos of an American Quarter Horse. More than 430 entries were received, and AQHA and American Quarter Horse Hall Fame & Museum staff selected 100 to be displayed at the 2015 AQHA Photography Show & Sale, October 24 – November 28 at the Museum. This is the first time member photography has been featured in an exhibit at the Hall of Fame.

Who’s Planning on Taking Advantage of AQHA’s New Level 1 Walk-Trot Classes in 2016?

SHW755.1 The Level 1 walk-trot classes can only be held as an all-age class and cannot be split out into youth age groups or Select. Only one horse-rider combination is allowed per class. If a horse-rider combination was entered into a Level 1 walk-trot class, that horse-rider combination cannot show in the corresponding loping/cantering class at that show. However, that combination can switch back and forth between the different shows.
