AQHA Level 1 Championship Underway in Oklahoma

Exhibitors at the AQHA Central Level 1 Championships saddled up their American Quarter Horses on April 10 for the opening day of competition at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The show kicked off at 10 a.m. with B&W Trailer Hitches Rookie youth ranch riding in the Jim Norick Arena and Level 1 youth working hunter in the Performance Arena.

After learning the proper technique, people got the opportunity to measure, hands on, with two miniature horses in the hotel foyer! Jamee Bornstein brought two miniature horses into the hotel and allowed members to stand up the horses the right way and use the measuring stick. While it was a lot of fun, it was also quite the unique learning experience.
