Novice Youth and Youth Walk-Trot continue to sport the biggest entry increases, and Youth Solid Paint-Bred entries are seeing growth this year, too. Continue reading …In Novice Youth Horsemanship 13 and Under, Karlee Shiery rode her colorful gelding, TC Hummer, to her first AjPHA Youth World title. Both Karlee and “Hummer” are 12 years old. They currently compete under the guidance of trainer Heather Brower and have done so for six years.

Her plans include eventually expanding the contest to each AQHA affiliate association having a representing queen in the Congress competition, stating, “It is important that we keep young women involved in pageantry and the quarter horse industry.”
