Oregon QHA Cancels Sweetheart Classic Due to Winter Weather

The Oregon Quarter Horse Association has announced that this weekend’s February Sweetheart Classic has been cancelled due to adverse winter weather conditions.
“Due to current and expected winter weather conditions regionally, OQHA has decided to CANCEL our February show in Eugene, OR this week. Although it was not a decision made lightly, we simply felt we had to put the safety of our horses and exhibitors first. We will be working towards rescheduling the event if possible, so please keep an eye out for additional information!”
Some additional notes:
– Stall, shavings and pre-entry monies will be refunded in full.
– RV reservations will be refunded in full, per Oregon Horse Center. Please reach out to them directly to make arrangements.
– Host hotel is aware of the cancellation, but is expecting individuals to contact and cancel their reservations individually.
