Oregon Quarter Horse Association
The luck of the Irish was with us last weekend! The Irish Classic, held March 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon, was one of our biggest Weekend Series shows in years. We knew there was a pent-up demand for getting out to show, and we delivered! In partnership with APHA and Oregon Paint Horse Club, we were able to provide a significant number of AQHA and APHA points with our large classes.
It was great to see so many youth! Our youth and beginner class sizes are increasing with each show, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the growth in these programs.
We also made sure to have some fun with activities, giveaways, and High Point awards! A 32″ TV was given away to Denae Way (all exhibitors were entered). The OQHA Youth Association put on a frisbee toss with Eric Havekost as the winner, and Crumbl cookies were handed out. Thanks to Crumbl, a new OQHA partner.
We appreciate our members and exhibitors. Thank you to all who attended this show!
