Yearling Nomination Deadline- May 15, 2018
Yearlings can be nominated into the Stallion Incentive Fund, the Breeders Championship Futurity or the Color Breeders Championship Futurity until May 15th for just $200. If you have not yet nominated your yearling into these leading incentive funds, now is the time.
In 2017, the Stallion Incentive Fund paid $31.00 per NSBA point while the Breeders Championship Futurity paid out over $250,000. The futurity is held every year at the NSBA World Championship Show and this year the BCF will offer 50 Breeders Championship Futurity classes.
In addition, all yearlings nominated into the Breeders Championship Futurity or the Color Breeders Championship Futurity are eligible to be consigned to the 2018 Markel Insurance Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale. Horses sold through the 2017 Markel Insurance Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale will compete for an additional $103,473 in 2018 and 2019. Deadline to consign is June 1 and is limited to the first 100 consignors.
2018 NSBA World Show- Qualifying Deadline April 30thThe 2018 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity will be here before we know it. The qualification period is May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018. Exhibitors must show to five judges in their respective classes to qualify. New this year? The addition of a 13 & Under division, the first year of the Color Breeders Championship Futurity, an additional 18 Color classes and Hi Point Saddles given to the Hi Point Ranch Horse in both the Open and the Non Pro divisions, to name a few.

Breeders Championship Futurity and Color Breeders Championship Futurity Stallion Enrollment Deadline- May 15th, 2018
Stallion Owners – Now is the time to enroll your stallions to the Breeders Championship Futurity and the Color Breeders Championship Futurity. The deadline to enroll your stallion is May 15, 2018 for the 2018 foal eligibility.

Open to all levels of riders and all ages with scholarship grants available to youth exhibitors who are members of 4H, FFA, IEA or YEDA. The grants will help offset NSBA membership fees and provide financial assistance with the entry fee.
Each day participants will ride with three different clinicians covering three different topics. Classes covered will include Showmanship, Horsemanship, Equitation, Ranch Riding, Trail, lead changes and rail work. In addition, each day participants will have an opportunity to talk with the clinicians and ask questions. Each location will have additional educational opportunities to learn about how to add a show team to your program, judging good conformation for performance horses and proper veterinary care.
