NSBA press release
NSBA members are invited to participate in a first-of-its-kind summit and symposium where trainers, professional horsemen, judges, stewards and exhibitors will discuss the horse show judging system and education process, the scoring system, class rules and humane treatment – across breed lines.
Attendees representing the American Quarter Horse Association, the American Paint Horse Association and the National Snaffle Bit Association will team up to discuss these issues to strengthen the integrity of competition on December 8, 2013, at the Dallas/Fort Worth Grand Sheraton in Irving, Texas. NSBA members are invited to attend.
Participants will attend 45-minute sessions with panel-led discussions that will cover Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Riding and Trail.
The panel discussions will be followed by 30-minute open dialog and question and answer sessions. Participants will also be able to ask questions and provide input in an open, dialog-friendly environment. The summit and symposium is designed to be positive and inviting, with the goal of helping exhibitors at a variety of levels.
Although the event is free, limited space is available for members of the host organizations, and registration is required. Attendees can complete the registration form by downloading it from the NSBA website, nsba.com, and emailing the completed form to sspears@aqha.com or faxing it to 806-349-6412.
