According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Fort Worth City Council recently gave the ok for the next step in the discussion of the construction and operation of a $450 million multipurpose arena at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 15,000-seat arena will be constructed at the corner of Harley Avenue and Gendy Street. Construction is expected to begin after the 2017 Fort Worth Stock Show and to be completed in late 2019. However, ground is expected to be broken on the parking garage within the next 2-3 months.
