New Partnership Announced Between StallWatch Equine Video Surveillance and Kaplow Insurance

We recently received word that two like-minded businesses in the horse industry have joined forces to cross-promote, co-endorse, and provide the maximum level of benefits for their respective clients. Once Darla Duncan of StallWatch Equine Surveillance and Evan Kaplow of Kaplow Insurance realized their companies have a common goal, to ensure the safety and well-being of their customer’s horses, a partnership was the next natural step.

“Evan Kaplow first noticed our cameras two years ago at the World Show when they were installed for HighPoint Performance Horses,” Darla Duncan says. “He thought it was a great idea. We have talked about working together since that show. We feel that the cameras go hand in hand with insurance for the preventative measures they can provide. We all know that if you can catch early colic or a cast horse, sooner rather than later, the outcome can drastically change.”

“The cameras also allow you to learn even more about your horse’s habits, which will let you know even sooner when something is off.”

This cross-promotional partnership will not only benefit both companies, Duncan is confident their clients will receive benefits that could evolve exponentially over time.

“We would eventually like to see underwriters offer a discount, much like home insurance comes with a discount when you have security cameras installed in your home,” Duncan says. “We aren’t able to offer this yet, but it’s our end goal. Often, when someone purchases a horse, they immediately get insurance. Now, they can also have the option to add a StallWatch kit directly from Kaplow Insurance as well.”

“StallWatch will now be available via Kaplow Insurance. We will be promoting and referring business to each other. StallWatch will be set up with Kaplow Insurance at the All American Quarter Horse Congress this year and information about the StallWatch kits as well as service for StallWatch can be set up directly through Evan Kaplow.”
