New Horse Show Tracker App Available For 2015 Quarter Horse Congress

The noticeable chill in the morning air and the subtle change in fall foliage can only mean one thing… it’s almost time for the All American Quarter Horse Congress! Wondering how you’re going to keep up with all of the classes, working orders, and patterns at the largest competition for Quarter Horses in the World? There’s an app for that.
Just like last year, the incredibly popular Horse Show Tracker App is back with several improvements and new features. The title sponsor of the app this year is Tribute Equine Nutrition. We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Kathy Trask of FunnWare Development to get the inside scoop on how the Horse Show Tracker App will be different for this year’s event.
“Class information has been loaded for 2015 and the basics will stay the same so that users can get draws, ongoing status, current leaders, and final results for all classes as they’re being worked,” Trask says. “We’ve moved the fairgrounds maps, stall location sheet, and pattern book to the front screen for easier access, once those become available.”
“We’ve also added a business listing for people to connect their services to those viewing the app. We’re currently offering advertising space on the app but are being conscious about overloading our users, so we’re limiting the listings.”
To keep up with all of the EquineChronicle.com coverage from the Congress, click on the Business button and view Online Horse Publications. The Equine Chronicle is listed at the top! Click on The Equine Chronicle, which will take you directly to our website where you can browse a variety of Congress coverage like interviews with winners and photo galleries.
Some of the most helpful features include the estimated time and location of classes, the ongoing status of classes, initial draws and scratches, current class leaders, and final class results. The app also provides quick access to a fairgrounds map, news, special event listings, and much more.
The updated version of the app has just been approved on the App Store and can now be downloaded. Trask encourages people to download the app now, BEFORE they get to the Congress.
“If people have the old version of the app still installed, it will no longer work. They should try to download the app before they leave home. Last year, we tried to help lots of people download the app, but many were people who don’t use the app store regularly, so they didn’t know their Apple ID and/or their password.”
