New Classes, COVID-19 Protocols, and Much More For Appaloosa World Show

A BRAND NEW WORLD

The 2020 World Championship Appaloosa Show & the Youth World Championship Show will be held together for the first time ever- October 29 – November 8 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Qualification requirements have been waived for this year only!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

To enter the grounds, all horses must have a current (within 30 days) health certificate dated on or after September 29, 2020 and proof of negative Coggins test (within 12 months) dated on or after October 29, 2020. Be sure your vet uses registered names for all horses on these documents.

You’ll also need the original Certificate of Registration for each horse. All transfers must be completed by October 28 and you must have your original Certificate of Registration at the show in order to show.

Please carefully read the premium book prior to completing your entry and/or stall reservations. It contains COVID-19 protocols in addition to updated information on many show processes that have been adjusted to adhere to those requirements. We urge you to carefully read through the book which will help you get prepared for the show in advance of arrival.

The first ever $2,500 3G Rockin’ MD Champion of Champions Western Pleasure and $2,500 Beck Farms Champion of Champions Hunter Under Saddle classes will be held on Friday, November 6. The top 3 entries in all open and non-pro (3-gaited) western pleasure and hunter under saddle classes are eligible to enter in their respective class. 100% of added money and entry fee money will be paid back! They will be judged by two NSBA-carded judges who will not be on the grounds in advance of these classes.

ATTENTION YOUTH!

We know you probably just want to come to the show and show! But we also know you have homework and school projects happening at the same time. We have a dedicated study space available for you at the show where you can sit down in a quiet room, get your homework done and then get back out there in the arena! Signs will be posted at the facility to direct you to this space. Let’s keep those grades up!

REGIONAL CLUB MEMBERSHIPS

Remember that if you are showing in any open or non-pro class at the World Show, one owner and every exhibitor must be a current 2020 regional club member. Be sure to purchase your regional club membership in advance of the show and remind your club to go online and update membership lists this month.

ENTRY/STALL/RV DEADLINES

The online entry system will be available starting Monday, September 14. Entry, stall and RV reservation forms will be available online that day as well.

If you print and mail forms, they are due by October 5 for pre-deadline pricing.

If you use the online entry system to process your entries, the deadline is 11:59 p.m. on October 8.

Entries, stalls and RV reservations can still be submitted after these dates with late fees.
